Extremely frustrating experience. They don't respond quickly, and when they finally do, and you take an hour to provide them with information they request - they don't respond again! If just getting a quote is this difficult, I can only image how difficult the building part would be! Dodged a bullet for sure.
We are very happy with our whole home reno by Alair. We were in good hands from start to finish and really appreciated the high level of craftsmanship. We now have a home we hope to 'age in place' in, as well as a beautiful basement suite that we rent to visitors. Mostly we appreciated how professional and patient everyone was throughout the process.
Very happy with Alair’s work on our redesigned main floor and kitchen. They kept the site clean, met their deadlines, solved issues and we ended up with exactly what was in the design. We got weekly reports so we knew exactly what was being done and they kept us informed on budget. The project manager was quick to answer questions and let us know if there were any decisions we needed to make to keep everything moving. We moved back in on time and the project was completed on budget - all during the pandemic. I would work with Alair again with no hesitation.
