I purchased a Handler Home 5 months ago, and if I could go back I would NOT buy anything from Handler Homes.They couldn't finish the home on time, even after I gave them extra time to begin with. I had to live in a hotel until they were ready to close. I had already sold my home in another state 12 hours away and based my time line on the closing date we agreed on originally. "Oops we can't finish by that date" they stated 10 days from closing date. I still have things that they're supposed to be taking care of from my closing walkthrough in December. They tell you what you want to hear in the moment but the have zero intentions on fulfilling what was agreed on. If you need something done and you can get a hold of someone they say " just be patient we will get to you". They are the kings of passing a buck to someone else, and then that person says "just be patient". Their is no accountability or communication from Handler Homes side. The only saving grace is this is a temporary move and I'll only deal with this for a little while. If you are thinking about purchasing a Handler Home, please DON'T do it go with anyone else. If you have to live in a hotel or with the In-laws you will be better off. I look forward to there reply, sorry to hear that, we really value your opinion blah blah blah. They don't mean a word of it, just know that.

We had a great experience with Dave in the Sales Department when purchasing our home and were assured that Handler Homes prided themselves on being different than other builders with their quality and customer service. However, that has not been the case when dealing with the warranty office specifically. The lack of communication is very disheartening by both the warranty office and the contactors used to correct issues with our home. We are still awaiting resolution from an issue from our 10-month walk through and it's been over 6 months later. The warranty office has completely ignored multiple emails. In speaking with neighbors, they have also shared similar experiences. Very disappointed and would love the opportunity to speak with someone at Handler since my request to have my issues escalated have gone unanswered.
