With the help of our fantastic realtor, Hannah Dubyne with Dubyne Realty, we met Kim Harding at New Tradition. Kim is A++++. We are now living in our beautiful new home. Kim was a joy to work with and so helpful. Kim is very friendly with great communication. I HIGHLY recommend Kim at New Traditions. It was amazing how quick and solid the home was built. Thank you New Tradition
My wife and I purchased 5 acres of property and had New Traditions build or home. We are so happy with our home. Fantastic quality control and craftsmanship with the New Tradition builders. We are so happy and pleased.
When purchasing the home they said they would fix all issues that we mentioned, they then only fixed like 3 of the 15 items and proceeded to ignore the rest. They then said someone would come out within the first week of purchasing the home to schedule a walk through of repairs that still needed to be done. No one reached out. Home was built with crappy quality
We bought the house in battleground and lived here for 2 months. Well the pictures show the quality. I don’t know what will happen in a year. Hopefully my roof won’t leak.
Our Foundation height is too much of a slope. Will be dangerous and is a safety concern in the winter with the driveway facing north it wont get a lot of sun. Same with the slope of landscaping on east of lot, the picture doesn't do it justice as its about a 3 foot difference in height.. Builder missed a door we added in master, the foundation vent was directly under the door to the right and a safety hazard. Builder would not address or fix until i had to get the county building inspector to call it a safety concern. The stain on the cabinets is very poor due to it being water based. Had to ask multiple times to get them re stained. Had a huge knot above the microwave, this also didn't get addressed until i became very frustrated and complained enough about it. The support pole in the garage smells sour. We believe it froze during the winter and am still waiting to hear back from the drywall company on how they will fix it. The Laminate flooring was put in correctly but they did not mix up the different size pieces and in the main location in our living room we have 4 small pieces in a row, which makes a huge eye sore. The paint on the outside is terrible. The paint is already wearing off the walls, i am afraid to even pressure wash the house. We were not given any options on color for the rear peak and two side doors, so we had to pay extra to get repainted. We have a signed contract from New Traditions that we were getting a mantle for free (from the realtor), however the closer we got to closing we were told that we would have to pay $1K for it and it was not negotiable and the owners made that decision due to recent increases in building materials. We ordered the custom door package, however the man door in the garage is just a normal 6 panel door. We love the home, floor plan and neighborhood, but hate the grade on the foundation and landscaping as it is to high and we thought we would have an option. Gene has been a pleasure to work with on warranty issues and fixing the small things. Our New Traditions Realtor was terrible, i had to ask multiple times to get answers from her. She didn't seem to care about making this a pleasurable transaction. On numerous occasions we would have meetings setup to sign paperwork or go over changes and we would have to wait for someone else, being family, friends or other clients for extended periods of time. She was on vacation the week we closed, however we never heard anything from her at all. It disappointed us as this was a long process and we thought we would get some form of congratulations or something along those lines directly from her. Over all i give New Traditions a 4 star, it would be higher if we got clear communication from the representative we dealt with, the only way we started to get communication was when i had to bring my own personal realtor in to get answers.
