Sunset Custom Homes joined Southern Arizona Home Builders Association during the beginning of the great recession. Originally for marketing reasons. I now understand that SAHBA fulfills a much greater need in our industry, namely political and educational advocacy. Every dues-paying, contributing member should be proud to be a part of SAHBA’s noble cause.
It is hard to quantify the benefits that SAHBA brings to our industry. Being involved, I see the daily effort that goes into taking the issues of building new homes in our community to the decision makers. Housing affordability is a major concern and without SAHBA and the input they provide costs of new homes would skyrocket!
