We met with Arcadia Homes to discuss a redevelopment. Sujhan was responsive, knowledgeable, and respectful at every step. We were impressed enough to move forward and are now in the permitting stage.
I first contacted Arcadia Homes in 2019 to build my parent’s home. We were tampering with the idea of building a new custom home for a while and our family had consultations with many builders prior. However when we sat down with Arcadia Homes, something about the information given to us, the track record and the quality of one of their model homes just gave us a gut feeling that it was the right time to move forward and that we had found the right builder. We went ahead with awarding Arcadia Homes towards the end of 2019 with our project. As we were wrapping up the design and permit stage, Covid happened, and the uncertainty was at an all time high with so many different variables at play considering that we were about to break ground on our dream home. Arcadia Homes came to the rescue at this point to assure us of the things they were doing to hedge against fluctuating prices, uncertainty of timelines and communicating to us constantly to assure that our project will turn out just as we had hoped to. Approximately 11 months from the day we broke ground, we had our keys and were able to take possession of our dream home. The end product was way more than anything we could ask for. Looking at how the finishes, the quality of all the woodwork, cabinetry, the accented lighting, moldings, the curb appeal, the advice and the guidance the team gave to us during the whole project still amazes us until this day. My family is so happy with the way everything turned out and 2 years of living in this home, we're still enjoying it everyday with such gratitude. Arcadia Homes also gave us Tarion Warranty for 7 years and so far we haven't had any major concerns with the home. Overall, if you're thinking about using Arcadia Homes for a new construction project, trust me when I tell you that they go above and beyond in their homes and you will get more than what you pay for.
It was our lifetime dream to build a custom luxury home. Back in 2015, We bought a bungalow in a neighbourhood we loved and in 2016 is where we sat down with Arcadia Custom Homes to get started. Initially, we spoke to Sujhan, and he provided us with a full cost breakdown with Hard and Soft costs, design options, timelines and took the time to go through our concerns and wish lists. Ultimately we chose to build with Arcadia Custom Homes, and they took care of the permits, coordinated everything all the way until they gave us the key to move in. The process wasn’t as seamless in the beginning, since we had to deal with a lot of permit issues due to being on the Greenbelt.Luckily the team at Arcadia Custom Homes walked us through the permit issues and handled the situation professionally, being able to get us what we envisioned all along approved and built. Buyer beware that building a custom home can be rewarding, but it does have its fair share of difficulties. I'm glad we chose Arcadia Custom Homes to handle this for us, and I am sure we would have been under a lot of pressure and stress otherwise. I've heard a lot of horror stories of builders walking away or building under quality. Notably Gobi and Jameel were a huge help during the build process and kept us in the loop over during the build with updates and any questions they needed answers for.Overall, we are still living in this home after 7 years. After we moved in, we did have a couple very minor deficiencies which we inspected during the warranty period (as i would expect in any home, considering we owned 2 other new subdivision homes before this), and the team was courteous to keep in touch and address our concerns in a reasonable time.Currently were working with Arcadia Custom Homes again to build another custom home and were super excited to build something bigger and better, and so far, it's been yet another exciting time.
