I bought a new build from Brett and Ashley and I would not hesitate to do it again.When I purchased the house I wasn't in the market for a home, but after seeing the craftsmanship and attention to detail when attending an open house I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity.Their homes are unique, bright, modern and really make you feel at home. Not to mention, they go above and beyond with materials and the build quality.The transaction was flawless and along the way everyone (my inspectors, real estate agent, loan officer and insurance broker) were extremely impressed with both the build quality and with Brett & Ashley themselves.During inspection, my two inspectors barely found a thing that wasn't already on Brett's to-do list. He even made some final touches that we didn't request but he had noticed himself. The final list of items was remarkably short, and my inspectors made a point that they hadn't inspected a new build of such quality before. You can tell they really take pride in their work and want to make sure it is as near-perfect as possible.If you get the opportunity to buy a Southerlyn home, do it and don't look back. You won't regret it. If not, hire them for a renovation and get a piece of one.
My wife and I recently purchased our first home from Southerlyn. We visited many, many homes during our search, but when we walked into what is now our home we could tell it was special. Brett and Ashley truly care about the quality of their product. Every detail is accounted for, and true craftsmanship and quality go into all that they do. Brett and Ashley are professional, responsive, and really made the home buying process such a great experience for us. We could not be happier with our new home, and that is all thanks to the work of Ashley and Brett.
Southerlyn Homes did a full renovation/addition for our new home purchase. We had a complicated and odd project for a small home. That did not stop Brett from taking on our project and accomplishing everything we asked for. He was able to navigate through the messy Saint Petersburg permitting process then deliver on the construction side. Brett was responsive and communicative throughout the process which helped make our decision making much easier. Knowing each step of what is happening in your home is very educational and helps you feel much better about taking on such a daunting task. Doing a remodel these days can be very difficult with rising prices and shortage of labor so we were happy that our project was done within the budget we were expecting. Even taking into account doing a full garage extension and completely gutting the interior of the home, we were able to squeeze our pricing into the initial contract numbers. Me and my wife are happy to be in our much more spacious and open home and it is all thanks to Southerlyn Homes!
We have loved working with Brett and Ashley on multiple home renovation projects! We have found them to be nothing but professional, responsive/communicative, creative, high-quality professionals and just all around nice people. They recently helped us turn a closet into a dream wine bar (see pics!) and we're looking forward to continuing working with them on building a guest house in our backyard. Highly recommend!
We worked with Southerlyn Homes to remove and install new french doors and side lights. From our consultation, they understood we needed this work done as soon as possible. They immediately got to work on our project and ordered a beautiful new set of doors. Once received, they demo'd and installed the new doors in one day, making sure the elements stayed out! The finishing work was top notch and all the employees who worked on our job were courteous, neat, and professional. When we need a bigger job done, we will be calling them back!
