From our initial meeting with the New Victorian Homes team we knew we made the right decision. Every member of the team is so knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. The entire process was seamless from beginning to end, including making decisions on flooring, plumbing, lighting, etc. The company has made it as easy as possible for the customer. I didn’t want to give any stars. This is a horrible company to deal with. I had a difficult time last year and decided to relocate back to my hometown. I was purchasing a duplex with an original completion date of June which changed to September and so on….The completion date changed so many times that I’m not sure where it ended up, I paid a $25,000 deposit, a decision based on emotion, anxiety and stress. I then I decided to go back to the west Coast and asked if I could get my deposit returned to me. The only work that had been done was preliminary drawings ( by that I mean sketch). I offered to pay for the time that was spent on these drawings etc but was told they would not return my hard earned money (that the deposit was non-refundable). Until now, I have never had the misfortune of dealing with such an unethical company in my entire life and I hope to never deal with a company like this again! So Buyer Beware
We cannot say enough about the amazing team from New Victorian Homes ...you guys are fantastic...one of a kind team and we are so very lucky to have you guys build our home...thank you Max, Ian, Lauren, Danielle, Melvin, Jim and subcontractors, Gary and his team, the plumbers, electricians and demo team, you guys are absolutely amazing.Special thanks to Max, the foreman, who went above and beyond, so very kind and patient, always available, professional and knowledgeable ...your kindness will never be forgotten. Special thanks to Ian, always so accommodating when we went to him with our many changes and requests, a pleasure to work with. Also, special thanks to Gary, you are an amazing carpenter and artist. We appreciate each and everyone of you so much.To say we are pleased with our new home is an understatement...we love our home and are delighted to see it completed...and ahead of schedule I will note, which we appreciate. When we decided to build our new home with New Victorian Homes it was clear from the start that they wanted the best for us. From choosing one of their signature designs to our final walkthrough we were heavily involved in every step. Throughout our build we were given frequent updates and reminders to keep us on track. We are so in love with our new home and we have made great connections with our New Vic team. We are also proud to put the first Ferryland design into motion; we love the functionality and luxury that this home brings.
