Recently finished a 700 SqFt ADU with these guys and overall the experience was great. There was quite a bit of coordination up front and they were really good at providing the information. We had a little bit of communication issues we had to work through to get the plans submitted but once the permit process was complete it was all green lights. Their Design Team was very helpful and knowledgeable in the finish selection process, which was greatly appreciated. Faizan, the PM who ended up taking the project to the finish line was awesome. Great communication, very informative, got everything coordinated and produced a finished product that I am thrilled with. As I said to start, overall this was a great experience and I would definitely use them again for future builds.
I’m so happy to have my ADU built after years of planning for it. IMKAT bid the job early on and stayed in communication while I got everything in order before starting construction. They were patient and consistent with their communication and did a fantastic job building the unit. I am happy with the quality of the build and the project manager that finished the job, Vlad, was great to work with. Vlad is professional, was available, easy to communicate with and followed through on items that we agreed upon and discussed.One point of feedback is that I had 3 different PMs throughout the job, which was a bit challenging at times and I believe is the reason that it was not completed per our original schedule. Outside of those 2 items, I enjoyed working with IMKAT and I would refer them to anyone considering building an ADU. From Pre-construction through completion of the project, their entire team was great. Even my visit to the office and interactions with their design and accounting teams were friendly, welcoming and easy to work with. Thanks for all your help with building my ADU!
IMKAT built two beautiful ADUs (forming a duplex) for rental income. IMKAT was by far the lowest bidder on the project and stepped outside their comfort zone with a complex design. The project took a little longer than originally anticipated, but it was completed in a reasonable timeframe. The final product is spectacular. They have a great network of contractors and subcontractors to get the job done right and were very responsive and attended to every detail.
