We’ve had a great experience with Ehrenburg Homes. The building quality is solid, and any questions or small issues that came up during the one-year warranty period were handled quickly and professionally. Their team has always been friendly (especially Evie), responsive, and easy to work with. It’s clear they take pride in their homes and in supporting their homeowners. Really happy with our decision to build with them.
Blain and Evie are awesome, I called the customer service and she took my case personal and ensure she gets intouch with everyone concerned. Blain came in and assisted, he was very proffessional, nice and calm as he listened and followed me round my new home to check out all repairs that is needed. Great Team and great service.
Just wanted to share a quick follow-up on my earlier review. I really appreciate the effort they’re putting in to make things right. So, I feel they deserve more than the 2 stars I gave before.—————————Responsiveness/Customer Support (5/5)Warranty Work (4/5)Completion of Project (1/5)Project Coordination / Supervision (2/5)Overall Quality and Workmanship (3.5/5)(Some trades did an excellent job, others were bad)Let me start with positives. The interior layout is beautiful. The living room, kitchen, and dining room are well-designed and filled with natural light during the day. The upstairs bonus room is a cozy spot for movies, music, or just relaxing on weekends. As someone with a tech background, I also appreciated the use of open-web trusses, which give better ceiling height in the basement. The interior paint, bathroom finishes, faucets, sinks, and lighting all look great for a home in price range. I also want to highlight some excellent individuals from Ehrenburg: technicians Denny, Albeen, and Blair; customer care manager Jenn; and sales rep Myles — all of whom were professional and supportive.Unfortunately, this is where the positives end.Our walkthrough was disappointing. The house was far from ready. there were hundreds of green tape marks for paint touch-ups, dusty floors, missing appliances (except for the dishwasher), scratched flooring, loose siding, a patched bathtub, and hardened concrete. We were assured everything would be fixed and cleaned by possession day. That didn’t happen. Many defects remained untouched. The microwave was misaligned and sagging later we found out it was only screwed into a single stud on one side.Deep floor scratches appeared to be from dragging appliances. Minor ones were buffed out with vinyl polish by warranty team, but deeper ones returned after mopping. The kitchen island is scratched and not properly anchored. t wobbles like a loose tooth.Cabinet doors were misaligned, and visible nail gun marks were everywhere. We were told the cabinet subcontractor (Superior Cabinets) would fix it — we’re still waiting months later. The AC was installed but not wired.A rainwater downpipe fell off in the wind. it was fastened with just one screw and no clamp. Many of these issues were eventually addressed, but some were not. I’ve given up on a few and plan to fix them myself.Exterior work has been the most stressful part. Nearly 3 months after possession, none of the exterior work is complete. No grading, parking pad, walkway, sprinklers, landscaping, or front steps. Stoneworkers came once, installed half the stonework, then left saying they ran out of material. It’s been like that for months. The house still has a temporary wooden staircase and pallets for a walkway, extremely slippery when wet, creating a safety hazard. We can’t keep the interior clean, and we’re too embarrassed to invite guests.Ehrenburg refuses to provide even an estimated timeline. I once asked, “Can you at least tell me if it’ll be done this year?” and guy just laughed. Imagine buying a house and telling the builder, “I’ll pay you the rest… whenever I feel like it.”Meanwhile, four other houses across from ours were built from the ground up and completed — while Ehrenburg claims they’re waiting for the right weather and available contractors. There’s little to no oversight of subcontractors. One technician, who came to inspect the kitchen island, turned out to be a subcontractor of a subcontractor — and he only adjusted cabinet doors. Many issues go ignored because no one seems accountable. If this is the quality of work we can see, I’m scared to think about what’s hidden behind the walls.Ehrenburg is the only builder in our area that hands over unfinished homes. The stress of dealing with incomplete work, poor coordination, and lack of communication has been overwhelming.Do not buy an Ehrenburg home unless it’s fully completed, inspected by a professional, and you're fully satisfied with what you see. Don’t rely on promises — get everything in writing, and bring a strong home inspector with you.
