What an amazing experience working with Authentic Developments. Jason and Jackie are incredible at what they do—and even better people. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. They have an amazing team, and the quality of their work truly shows. I can’t imagine using anyone else to build a home. Highly recommend— you will not be disappointed.
Lots of good nice people but some disappointments.We did an interior refresh on our Cabin at Katepwa.The good is our cabin looks great and modernized.The bad was quality of work and attention to detail. Dismissive of feedback and requests for corrections to details before it was too late then became an irritant later.Paid in full when some details needed to be addressed. In hindsight should have held back a couple percent until everything was completed.Overall observation new builds maybe are better results. But renovations away from their home base are completeld by sub contractors and the they just push them to rush through. Often having them tripping over each other and not completed work in the right order.Again much good and it looks great, and I’m probably a little picky but when I see a light not centered or feel a dip in the floor or run my hand over a rough finished railing it leaves a sense of disappointment for the overall value.Would never say don’t hire them but make sure the work completed to your satisfaction before settling up the final bill.
We've been in a home for 20 years that we didn't love. We decided it was time to either renovate or move. We decided to explore renovation. That started with a conversation with the great people at Robinson Design. They referred us to a couple of builders, and we decided to work with the team at Authentic.Our renovation was extensive, essentially a new build, so we put a lot of trust in the team to manage the project. The Authentic team earned that trust and exceeded our expectations.The experience was, and continues to be terrific. We had a pretty short list of things we liked and wanted - we aren't designers - as a result we relied heavily on Jackie for her design recommendations, and she nailed it every time. Although we relied on her, we always felt included and consulted.We also felt like her eye was as critical as ours when if came to the details. If anything didn't seem perfect, she noticed it and ensured it was corrected.We relied heavily on Jason, Brad and Lance on the construction side. They were responsive, communicated proactively, and did a superb job. They were open to questions, and were clearly working closely with their sub-trades. We were welcome to check in on the house at any time. Like Jackie, they also had an attention to detail that we really appreciated. The reno took about 5-6 months to complete and there weren't any work days that our house sat empty.We moved into the house about 4 weeks ago. We absolutely love it. We couldn't be happier with Authentic! After we moved in and the project was complete, the Authentic team continues to be responsive and helpful with the odd little thing that we have questions about.We'd use them again for any project, and can't say enough of about the positive experience.

Jason’s vision was a game changer, something we had never earlier considered; and with his expertise and dedicated team of highly skilled trade specialists, realized within only months! Jackie’s guidance and regular updates throughout the process were reassuring and appreciated; and her attention to detail and thoughtful suggestions tailored to our needs, made all the difference! The final result was truly perfect for us, and I am thrilled how everything came together! 1 / 1We had our dream home built by Authentic during the Fall/ Winter of 2023. Jackie is the most incredible human being. She handles everything with a calm nature and has really good suggestions to take your home to the next level. She communicated everything in a timely matter and always kept us up to date on the build. If any issues arose, she was quick to communicate a fix.My husband and I were disappointed in the quality of work done by some of the trades, as there were a few issues that showed there was not a significant pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
