Our journey with Colbray began with a simple phone call to Jackie where we explained what we were looking for and many of the non-traditional elements associated with our design. While we worked with a designer to refine our plans, we invited Colbray—along with two other builders—to bid on the project. Colbray stood out immediately. Their response was thorough, thoughtful, and they took the time to walk us through their bid package, addressing potential concerns before they ever became issues. They also had a few smart tweaks for our design.When construction began, the experience only reinforced our choice. Even though we were living in Calgary at the time, the communication was so strong that we always felt connected to the project. On the rare occasions when we weren’t sure what was happening, we received immediate answers and clear guidance from Marty, which gave us confidence every step of the way.As the build progressed, we worked closely with Jackie on our selections. She not only helped us bring our vision to life but also challenged us to think bigger and better, pushing us toward results that exceeded what we had originally imagined. Since moving in, the few minor issues that have come up were handled quickly and with care.The Colbray tradespeople showed incredible skill and attention to detail, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Communication was always timely and respectful, and we felt confident at every stage that our vision was being brought to life.Looking back, we really feel blessed that we worked with Colbray and our Dream House is clearly the coolest house ever built.
Colbray Homes. I had such a good feeling from the first meeting. And it was a feeling that could be trusted ??We met Jackie in 2019 at Colbray's amazing Showhome in Loredo. We knew there was something special about this small company and slowly but surely we bought in and allowed them to dream up our forever home with us.Looking back on this process, Colbray was nothing but patient with us as first time home builders. With the caliber of home we were dreaming up, we appreciated their vision coming along side us and dreaming with us. They never once told us to hold back but they were also conscious of our budget and helped us to be realistic.We are proud to be one of their first lake builds and we truly enjoyed build ALONG side them. The relationship with Colbray was everything and we appreciate that to this day.Colbray found a way for us to live in our guest house while our main house wad being completed. We appreciated being able to be a part of the process day in and day out with their staff/contractors always reply promptly to concerns and praise!Overall, I truly think Colbray built us our FOREVER home. BUT if we ever get the itch to build something different we know who to trust... with a market saturated with decent builders we are so thankful we trusted our gut and pick the overall BEST!Their designer Jackie is truly someone who MADE the experience and she is a true blessing and has a great vision. Colbray Homes is a beyond exceptional builder. We built our first home with Colbray in 2021-2022. I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. As a young couple having our first baby, Colbray met with us and ensured our values and the things we needed were built into our home. It felt like the all inclusive experience of building. I felt completely guided through the whole process. I did not feel overwhelmed by all the decisions as we had the Colbray team to guide us through every decision along the way. I would be excited to build with them again. The communication between Colbray and their customers is amazing. I could call or text them any question and I would get immediate responses throughout the build.I enjoyed having the design experts guide us along the way. I felt secure in all the meetings we had and that they were very professional. I loved the design advice as Jackie got to know our design preferences early on.My husband and I were able to make changes throughout the process and we never felt stuck with any decisions. Colbray allowed us to do some things ourselves we built our deck for instance which allowed us to save money.They were extremely organized with the book they created for us which outlined exactly what products we were getting and the cost of everything.The quality of the home is excellent, we get nothing but complements from our friends and family about the workmanship.I appreciated the warranty on our home that Colbray provided. Colbray was constantly checking in on us after the build to make sure everything was in working order. They did this for over 1 year after the build was complete.We can't wait to build again with them one day. They made our house feel like a home we will cherish for years to come.

They never made us feel rushed or pressured, and they respected our opinions and preferences.Our post-construction experience was nothing but perfect.
