Building our Bronze Leaf townhome with Homes by Dickerson was the best experience we have had with new construction. From start to finish, we were kept informed on the progress, we were allowed to check in whenever we liked, and we actually closed on the scheduled date! Our construction supervisors (Chad, and then Ryan) were so responsive, always pleasant and patient, and available for any questions that came up.These homes are top quality, beautifully designed, with great attention to detail.We love our new home and would highly recommend Dickerson to anyone!
We were extremely happy with our entire experience. My husband has already written a complete and comprehensive review of our project manager Ryan Wright and how he went above and beyond in managing the building of our home. We also want to say what an excellent job designer Abigail Taylor did in helping us with the vast array of selections we had to make from kitchen cabinets, flooring, tile, hardware, bathroom fixtures, paint, countertops and the list goes on. I can be very indecisive and that causes me to second guess my decisions…a lot and that might drive some designers crazy but Abigail was extremely patient and answered any questions or concerns I had honestly. She did copious amounts of research on fixtures and hardware for our baths; assured me about paint colors and if I made a choice I was unsure of she gave me an open and honest opinion but she never forced her vision on us either. She truly helped us find our way to what we envisioned. She certainly knew what she was talking about…one example: I wanted white upper cabinets and a different darker color for the island and lower cabinets. When choosing the white she encouraged us to go with the off white color. In a small door sample I ruminated a lot worrying the color skewed too gray but I trusted Abigail (I did not want it to read too bright “hospital “ white. Well she was 100 percent correct. The finished color is exactly what I wanted. If you are building a townhome or free standing house with HBD you cannot go wrong, especially if Abigail is your designer. We are still settling in so forgive the unfinished decor and occasional boxes that show up in photos.
