NEXTGEN Builders has been fantastic to work with, and they are clearly one of the best builders in the valley. I can not say enough good things about them. From initial purchase, through design and into construction they have far exceeded my expectations.Starting with the finished house itself, their tagline of “Built Right” is accurate. The home is built to an extreme level of care and quality. The 3rd party inspectors I had come out to look at it pre-drywall and pre-close both said that it was one of the best built homes they’ve ever inspected in 20 years. While I've heard that this builder was quality, hearing it from an un-biased 3rd party inspector is a very high mark of praise. Their demo house is very well built, and indicative of what you will be receiving with them. The home is quiet on the inside, well insulated, efficient, and very nicely finished. No corners were cut, it’s simply an extremely high quality build. I am admittedly obsessively detail oriented, I will notice the tiny imperfections that most will not notice/care about, and I had to look extremely hard to find even minor “nit pick” things, which were quickly addressed without hesitation or complaint.I requested several custom items which were not on their normal menu of options, NEXTGEN was able to accommodate these requests without issue. There are not many builders out there willing to deviate from the standard option selection menu.Their options/upgrade pricing is fantastic. There are many items on their options menu that I couldn’t have done myself for a better price than what they are offered for through NEXTGEN. Take an options sheet from many of the other builders and compare it to NEXTGEN, their pricing is fantastic.Let’s talk about their purchase and build process.Joe Pang in sales was able to answer all my pre-sales questions, direct me over to who to work with for financing. He was able to handle “odd ball” questions and get me answers prior to signing purchase agreements. He was able to confirm what the build process looks like, what options are available, and rough ideas on pricing for upgrades. He kept in contact throughout getting a construction loan approved.Christina Russell at the design center helped to select design options that lined up with our budget, showed some examples of finished builds, and helped us to pick out options that lined up with our vision for the home. She was able to offer helpful insight into what items pair well with each other for our desired look and finish.Mike, my construction manager, has been fantastic. He kept the trades on schedule and got the house done well ahead of my expectations. He is communicative and let me know as each step on the build was completed. He is detail oriented and made sure the work was completed to extremely high standards.I have attached some photos of the home during construction and from the buyer walkthrough. NEXTGEN had already tagged most of the minor nit-pick things without me mentioning them. (The blue tape seen in the walkthrough photos.) These small items were resolved by their trades prior to NEXTGEN handing the house over to me.I am very impressed with NEXTGEN and the home they have built for me. The level of quality and workmanship is impeccable. The process of purchasing, design, and construction was made simple and straightforward.
We have been in the process of building our dream home with the NextGen Team and have had a phenomenal experience. Rochelle Ciulla was our first experience post contract. The permitting experience I have always been told was a strenuous one. Rochelle made it a flawless experience for us. So grateful! She was an absolute joy. Christina Russell was a true blessing during our design center experience. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. Now we are in the full on building process. Our project manager Michael Morgan has made this process one to remember. He is extremely informative. He makes sure to keep us informed during every phase of the build. His communication is greatly appreciated! His attention to detail as a Project Manager is what we admire the most about him. He has been in full communication with us during the scheduling of the building process. Everything has been exactly what he has told us time frame wise. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful experience we have had thus far. I highly recommend the NextGen Family! Our NextGen Home is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the middle of February 2024. Our experience with everybody at Next Gen has been great. Marissa in sales was awesome, Lisa in the design center was very informative and patient with us.Our project manager, Dan has been truly amazing. As we are currently living out of state, he has provided timely photos of the progress and answered all of our questions. Dan is a true professional and is a real asset to Next Gen.We are beyond excited to move into our new home and start our next chapter! Two thumbs up ??
I am 95% through a build, and move in the end of the year.My whole experience really has been great from start to present.Kyle in sales, Lisa in design were helpful and great work work with.Dan has been my superintendent and he has been accommodating every step of the process. Worked with me in anything I needed and transparent with the process. He has kept the schedule tight, efficient and moving the entire time.I have driven by and inspected the build almost daily for 5 months. As a contractor myself, all my expectations have been easily met, and NextGen really builds a solid home.I can't wait to start this next chapter.
NextGen Builders is currently building our home. The reason we went with them was there absolute transparent building timeline, as well as the fact that we could walk through a model home and see just how great the quality was and will be able to expect in our home as well. We loved that they had models to choose from with quite a bit of options to customize our home. They are very responsive, professional and friendly too which is a big deal for us!
