Recently purchased a Home Company home, with Lindsay as the seller agent. Can’t express enough how great Lindsay has been to work with! She is responsive, and is willing to help even after closing. She’s, in multiple situations helped us push things along to get them done sooner than later. If Lindsay is in the seller end of things, be thankful! Much appreciate having worked with her!

Jim Kristl, the builders rep, was outstanding and kept us up to date the entire build and was always available if we had any questions.The building process went smoothly and they offered a good value compared to the competition.I found the detail and craftsmanship to be spot on as well and I visited the job site daily.Would definitely recommend.We are very happy in our forever home!
We really enjoy our home, but dealing with The Home Company has consistently been a frustrating experience. From the start, their real estate agent was unhelpful throughout the buying process, a sign of what was to come.Shortly after moving in, we installed a fence because we have dogs and couldn’t wait. Our installer ran into issues with the placement of sprinklers along the property line. Despite repeated attempts by us, our installer, and our realtor to contact The Home Company, no one was willing to assist. It took numerous follow-ups and, ultimately, firm pressure before someone finally came out to inspect the issue. When they did, it was clear they had already decided not to take responsibility. One of the company’s VPs visited our property and was rude and dismissive. It was a baffling lack of customer service, especially considering how minor and inexpensive the fix would have been for them. In the end, we paid out of pocket, and our vendor covered the cost.Unfortunately, our experience since then hasn’t improved. The Home Company promotes a warranty repair program that sounds great in theory but has been terrible in practice. Getting a response from the warranty department is extremely difficult, we’ve had to follow up multiple times with emails and calls just to get acknowledged. They offer an 11-month warranty day, during which they schedule multiple vendors to come out at once. Several outdoor vendors arrived early, without notice, and performed poor-quality work that we didn’t have the opportunity to review or approve. Two of our agreed-upon warranty items were never fixed. We’ve emailed the warranty department repeatedly with no resolution, other than being told to contact the vendor who never showed up.In short, while the home itself is well built, don’t expect anything else. Maybe it is because we bought a home that was already built, but in our experience, you can ignore the marketing, The Home Company’s only priority appears to be the bottom line.
Had a wonderful experience with The Home Company. Lindsay was great to work with. Rick and Joe made us feel comfortable asking questions or answering any concerns. They really want you to be happy with your home. You can tell they take pride in their work. I would recommend them to anyone.
We have built 4 homes in the past 30+ years and this was the best process we encountered. The Home Company builds a quality product that is very competitively priced. The entire staff is so professional and is committed to making the client happy. Having a project manager in the neighborhood managing 10 homes is a game changer. He is making sure each day that the project is on time, budget, and done right.
