Downsizing and purchased one of the model homes. The model looked beautiful but is missing the mark on a few "livability" items that would have made this home exceptional. There is no linen closet for the primary suite, and no pull out shelving under the bathroom sink. Some storage solutions for the towels for the primary would have been amazing. The water closet in the primary is very narrow. When you put a large roll of TP on the holder your leg is right up against it, a few extra inches in room width would make a difference. The master bathroom countertop area and outlets do not accommodate todays needs. Hot rollers, hair dryer, electric tooth brush, vanity mirror etc. do not fit on the counter space and teeter on the edge of the counter. Would give anything for 6-8 more inches of counter space and another outlet. Kitchen storage is minimal and a place to hide the trash can in the cabinetry would have been a great touch. Pantry - an amazing touch for a model home would have been cabinets in the lower portion of the pantry to hide (mixers/bowls) with shelving above instead of a tract home pantry. The home is built well, but some attention to design detail for actual "living" in the home is missing. The Community is beautiful & well kept and great amenities.
I recently moved into a new house built by Blandford Homes and I was very impressed with the entire process. I built the house remotely and despite that challenge everything turned out perfectly. Working with Terry and Justin Lents on the design and contract process was seamless. They delivered everything exactly on time and on budget. Bernadette was also great to work with on the design and selections process. Since I have moved in we have had a few warranty issues, but they get resolved ASAP. Robert Ibarra with the customer service warranty team has been excellent to work with. I highly recommend Blandford Homes
We recently closed on our new home in Reserve at Red Rock, and what an exceptional (and truly fun!) experience we had with the Blandford team! Our sales team of Terry & Justin Lents went above & beyond--from assisting us in choosing the perfect lot, to keeping us updated throughout construction and sending us progress photos so we could see the build process from afar. Their communication & professionalism was top notch. Bernadette, our in-house designer, was amazing at helping us choose all the interior finishes...we were wowed by how everything came together. Our final walk through with Brian Klein was extremely informative and his attentional to detail and follow up on any questions we had were so appreciated. We're thrilled with the quality & workmanship of our AZ home and the beauty of the community that Blandford Homes created!
