It's taken me a bit of time to do this review but only because the thought of being able to capture the incredible experience I had was daunting!

In 2023, I did a full renovation of my condo in Century City, and working with Elan was the best decision I’ve ever made as a homeowner. Looking at the before-and-after photos, it’s almost hard to believe it’s the same home, and that transformation is entirely due to his talent, integrity, and dedication to delivering exceptional work (and well...maybe some of my design sense too!).

From day one, he was on budget, on schedule, and completely collaborative. He listened closely to what I wanted and then elevated every idea with thoughtful suggestions, creative solutions, and a clear vision. At every step, he was communicative, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making sure the finished spaces felt personal, modern, and beautifully cohesive.

I now live in a completely reimagined home, one that is truly my happy place. It's a sanctuary where I can retreat to be alone and a place that I love to share with friends and family.

The changes he made are stunning. Spaces that once felt dated, dark, or overly mirrored are now warm, bright, airy, and full of personality:

Bedrooms: What used to be plain rooms with heavy carpet are now fresh, stylish retreats. The primary bedroom was transformed into a pink floral oasis with the upholstered bed I have always wanted while the second bedroom provides a lovely and calm environment for my home office and for my guests.

Bathrooms: The difference here is jaw-dropping. The before photos show mirrored walls everywhere (beware), not so much fun when you can see 100 versions of yourself while taking a shower. He turned both bathrooms into spa-worthy spaces with beautiful tilework, modern vanities and soft lighting. The standalone tub with the wood-like tile accent wall looks like something out of a boutique hotel. And the red vanity brings a fresh, joyful energy.

Living Room: The old setup was heavy with built-in furniture and wall-to-wall mirrors. He opened everything up with lighter floors, modern furniture, clean lines, and a calm, organic palette. The new fireplace wall and natural textures make the entire space feel serene and inviting.

Entryway: What was once a bare, flat entry now feels architectural and intentional. The vertical wood accent wall, soft lighting, and curated console create a warm welcome the moment you walk in.

Kitchen: The transformation here is incredible. He replaced dark brown cabinetry and busy mirrored accents with a timeless, magazine-worthy design: white upper cabinets, beautiful green lower cabinets, marble-look countertops, brass hardware and open shelving. And it doesn't just look amazing...It is a million times more functional than it was before the renovation.

Bar Area: The mirrored black bar is now a whimsical moment with wallpaper (drunk monkeys!), brass brackets, floating glass shelves, and warm pink cabinetry. It's exactly what I had imagined!

Elan goes above and beyond in every way! He didn’t just “finish the job”; he made sure every corner, seam, and detail was done correctly, even if that meant extra effort on his end. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy and that the final product reflected the highest standards.

Finding someone who is this skilled, honest, responsive, and genuinely invested in the client experience is incredibly rare. I trusted him completely throughout the process, and the final result is a home that feels luxurious, thoughtful, and truly me.

I could not recommend him more.

We just finished a major renovation with Select Builders, and honestly, Elan and his team were amazing. We redid our kitchen, bathrooms, plus all the drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, tile, and flooring throughout the house.
What really impressed me was how Elan actually listened to what we wanted. When I changed my mind about the kitchen backsplash (twice!), he just rolled with it and helped me figure out what would work best. His crew showed up on time, were super respectful, and kept everything clean – which honestly surprised me after hearing horror stories from friends.
The tile work in our master bathroom turned out gorgeous, and the kitchen cabinets look better than those fancy model homes we toured. My mother-in-law keeps asking who did them because she wants the same work done!
