We are working with Starr Homes on a design-build project. We have just finishing the "design" part with a designer they suggested that really has been amazing and has ideas we would never have thought of. Starting the build recently. Starr Homes (Gerry and Bob and all their staff) have been fantastic throughout the design process.
We built our home with Starr in 2025 and had a top notch experience. I can’t say enough good things about the project managers assigned to our project. They were proactive and completely on top of every minor detail. Their response time to any question or idea was usually seconds, and they always said yes when I had an idea, even if it was an inconvenience. They did things like move vents that were in the way before I even asked, recommended light switches in the master for backyard flood lights and had trim detail updated in hours after I made changes. It’s this level of tiny detail that truly makes a home functional and beautiful.Of course no build is perfect, and yes we had a few bumps along the way. But any 14 month project spanning a large amount of space and cost will have that. Most things were fixable and nothing was so large that it hindered the experience.The team at Starr feels like a family and a family that truly cares about the quality of work they do.If we ever build a home again, it will for sure be with Starr.
On our second build job with Starr Homes and came back because of their reliability and craftsmanship. They have systems and processes in place streamline and simplify and to catch problems and present solutions before we even know they exist. The knowledge of our project manager on every aspect of building gives us great confidence in the quality of our future home!
