In May we stopped in the model home at the Boulders to have a look. We were greeted by Cathy Best and warmly welcomed to tour the model. We knew we found our new build that day! She was so very knowledgeable about the whole process. With her guidance and house sales experience we settled on a lot and a floor plan. Our experience with Joyner Homes has been top notch thus far.

Just be aware if you are building with them, you will have tremendous warranty calls due to poor quality and installation practices. So far I have
1- uneven sub-flooring ( can’t even set a chair in the area )
2- windows leaking water
3- garage door leaking water from all around the sides, and windows in the garage door
4-Garage door entry way took 4 visits to be fixed and we still don’t know if it’s gonna be ok
5- foundation leaks and cracks
6- Tub drain leaking
7- missing outlet
8-outdoor slab had to be replaced because is Settled the other way
9-gutters were clogged with water bottles and weee leaking
10- subfloor problems and no tape on exterior windows or doors per zip system requirements
12- above all no PM knowledge
13- all work is not code compliance, don’t even know what building codes are. Look at the picture where they used wood tress as a duct cavity even though there is a plumbing running in the same spot. Not even mentioning that this is not code compliance. Shortcuts after shortcuts ripping people up.

The list will go on and on and on,,,
The funny part is that they will pull a spec from somewhere and tell u it’s ok, it’s per standard to have a flood in your garage or basement. lol
I guess this is Joyner home standards!

Don’t trust them with your build unless u put it in the contract since they will protect themselves ( unforeseen conditions)

Everyone we have dealt with thus far has addressed all our questions and concerns promptly and honestly. We will definitely recommend Joyner Homes to anyone we know who is interested in building a custom- made home as Joyner has exceeded all our expectations and we look forward to seeing our new home come to fruition in the not too distant future!

From the moment we arrived at the model home at The Boulders, we were made to feel so incredibly welcomed. Cathy Best lived up to her name—she was the best! She explained everything we had questions about and, when we returned the next day, she guided us through the process of getting all the paperwork done to purchase a new home site at Stone Ridge. This young lady could not have represented Joyner Homes any better.
