We built our Woodland home from the ground up. We chose Woodland to build our home based on their reputation in the area for quality houses. We also liked that they offered more high-end standard features that other builders in the area considered as “upgrades.” We wanted to make some changes to our floor plan we chose and customized our home. Jawana, our on-site realtor, worked with us to help make that happen. She was available throughout the entire process to guide us and answer all the questions we had. She truly seems to have the clients best Interest at heart and she was great to work with.
Tom, our Construction Manager was thorough during our scheduled walkthroughs. He answered all our questions and addressed our concerns without hesitation.
Jenn, our warranty leader has been great to work with thus far. Any concerns I have had, she has addressed them without question. I also appreciate her experience in new construction homes. She has given us great advice and told us what to expect in our first year here.
We have been in our new home for almost 2 months. Overall, we are very satisfied with our Woodland home. As with all major projects, there were some bumps in the road during the process. However; Jawana, Tom, and Jenn made sure all our concerns were addressed and that we were satisfied prior to closing.

Our original journey to building our home was not easy but Woodland Homes became part of the blessing at the end of a very long road.

After experiencing disappointment, delays, and having to walk away from our first build, we stepped into this process with cautious hope and a lot of prayer. Woodland Homes met us with professionalism, integrity, and care from the very beginning. What stood out most was their commitment to quality and their willingness to ensure things were done the right way, not the fast way.

We were blessed with an incredible team throughout the journey. Grace, our onsite agent, was attentive, supportive, and always answered my 101 questions when I pulled up and/or texted or called her. Steve, our GC Builder, demonstrated true craftsmanship and pride in his work, ensuring the home was built with excellence. We felt like he was building a home he would be proud of. Larissa, our designer, helped bring our vision to life and created a space that truly reflects our family. If I made a mistake in that design room, she would walk me back through with her expertise and that trust went a long way.

Now that it has been a full year since we closed, I would like to give a very special thank you to Jenn, who was incredible throughout the process and beyond. Her responsiveness, kindness, and dedication made us feel seen, heard, and supported through this warranty process. She didn’t just do her job, she truly cared.

We are grateful to Woodland Homes Squad for helping bring our vision to life and giving our family a home that reflects everything we prayed for. We would absolutely recommend Woodland Homes to anyone looking for a builder who values both quality and people.

We have had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Woodland homes.

First - the quality can’t be beat. There are other builders in the area, then there is Woodland.

Second - communication has been excellent. They have helped and guided us every step of the way. Always available to answer questions.

Third - we just like the people we have worked with! Starting with Tyler in Lakewood, to super builder, Steve! Finally, Jenn was phenomenal.

Put these together, and it’s a five star experience. These are next level homes with the service and attitudes to match. Couldn’t recommend more.

I purchased a completed spec home in August 2025. We also considered building from the ground up. One of the main reasons we liked Woodland Homes so much, is they let you customize your home. The sky is the limit for what you want/allowed to change. Many builders won't let buyers make any changes or customizations. Woodland Homes let's a buyer have the ability to design a home that ultimately works best for them and how you operate/function in your home. The attention to the little details is something I really appreciated. There is no such thing as a perfect builder or a perfect home, but my home is perfect for my family's needs.

LOW-END QUALITY FOR HIGH-END PRICE.

I could post paragraph after paragraph depicting my nightmare of an experience with Woodland Homes....but a “Karen rant” quickly loses both its credibility and effectiveness. My goal is in no way to slander a company name. In fact, Woodland maintains so much pride in their product, they will not even approve the requested repairs to my home, despite offering an eleven-month home warranty. Therefore, I am posting this review so that I may share first-hand photos of the quality work you will receive if you purchase a Woodland home. The model is beautiful and the ladies in the office are incredibly helpful, but please let these photos speak for themselves. I don’t own Ugg boots, nor do I like pumpkin spiced lattes, so please heed my advice and purchase elsewhere. I hear Pearson, just down the road, has really elevated the quality of their homes to match the increased price-point. I wish I would have purchased there...or anywhere other than Woodland.

I will happily update photos if any repairs are actually made, but communication, accountability, and work ethic have, in my experience, been a lost concept.
