My initial experience would have been a 3, but it's definitely changed since Hyde Homes turned our neighborhood over to the thuggish company "Elite Housing Management," where they write fines that are not covered in the covenant, are actually NOT accredited by the BBB, and have substantiated complaints against them. Also, Hyde Homes needs to stop trying to Hyde behind Elite Housing Management, they are a company YOU HIRED and have exactly as much control as you give them.

I recently toured several Hyde Homes with Nikki, their sales rep. We looked at homes across a few different communities, and in several stages of construction. I was really impressed by the building process, energy saving features, and the knowledge of the team I was with.

You can tell so much more about a home when you see what's going on behind the walls. I would have been proud to sell any one of the homes we toured. The project manager really pays attention to what's going on with each home, and that was evident in the quality of construction I saw onsite.

After touring the homes I decided to research some of their claims regarding their home's energy efficiency, and if anything they are underselling just how much money you can save on your monthly utilities by buying a Hyde Home.

I highly recommend Hyde Homes. I think you will get a well built home with a lot of energy saving features at a great price.

Do not buy a Hyde Home, they are dishonest and will always find the cheap way out of warranties or craftsmanship. We have had several issues with our home since moving in in 2021 to include: electrical, pipe leak, drainage issues, and several cracked tiles, and poor painting (painted on light fixtures and completely missed areas). They purposely bait and switch to get you to void your warranty, so they don't need to pay. Take this review as a warning to find other options on you next home search.

At first we were very happy to work with this company. They were very fast to sell us a home. What we didn't know when we bought the home (Which has an HOA) was how many problems we would face after purchasing our home. From AC issues to finding out our dish washer was installed damaged (Roof caved in, didn't learn until first use) which took over a month to replace.

Our most recent problem is their new builds that take priority on our road, the workers keep parking their vehicle's in our yard, On top of that they blocked an irrigation channel that caused our yard to flood with their gravel. I have been cordial and called a few times saying they are destroying the front yard, they have taken no action. They let trash fly all over our yard and leave garbage in the ditches

Today was the last straw, I called their main line and demanded to speak to a manager, no response followed by the call ending and now they wont answer my calls. Do not use this company, they take weeks to get anything fixed and when you tell them their workers are damaging your property, that is held accountable to an HOA for me to fix, they choose to ignore me.

I’ve held off on doing a review till now. Hyde can’t even install a microwave properly amongst many other things. They use bottom of the bottom builders and have bottom of the barrel quality. Railing in the stairs is uneven and even had Hyde come and “fix” it only to be told it’s supposed to be that way. Drywall plaster is cracking at seams. Have a bowed out section in one wall from poor workmanship. They never come out and fix the issues you call about. Save your money they are scam artist.
