We have had an outstanding experience with Evan and his whole team.We began shopping for a new house last year from british columbia when we found the land and plans for the house on realtor.We had an initial meeting before going home and decided to build new through Collins.During the build we recieved frequent zoom calls,with walks around the property and full transperancy of costs.Living out of province Evan took every step to ensure we were comfertable with our new home.As the build progressed we were contacted with all the people to make all the selections in our new home.We have finally moved in and Everyone at Collins has surpassed what we ever expected, and the fit amd finish is beautiful. Beyond what we imagined.With a new house we found a few things that didnt work perfect off the start, but the team ( huge thanks to Gerry, Allison and Wes) treat us just as well now that we have the keys as the day we gave our depositIf you are building, we couldnt state how positive everything has been for us from start to finish.Thanks for our dream home
From the first time I made contact with Evan I realized that he was a professional person who cared about delivering a quality product with excellent service.This was our third build.Building from scratch is an emotional and stressful experience particularly with budget and time frame.Evan’s original budget was realistic and not falsely low to entice our business and throughout the build I always felt that our budget was in safe and trustworthy hands which talking from experience is not always the case.At the planning stage through discussion with Evan his input and attention to detail was highly constructive and his excellent ideas definitely added to the final product.I am a very difficult person to please my expectations are very high when building the door will be left unlocked sometimes or the site left in a mess or something forgotten or misplaced but in our case these things were very few and far between.Gerry the project manager is the best project manager I have met his ability to schedule is awesome he is very calm and easy to work with. in the office Wes looks after the number he is very efficient and an excellent communicator answering my queries swiftly and efficiently.The quality of finishing is excellent and I would highly recommend that someone seeking to build would give them consideration.The house was built in a pandemic and completed ahead of schedule great work guys.
We recently moved from the Montreal area and decided to build a new home here in Westwood Hills. We shopped around for a new home builder in Halifax and met most of the builders but once we met Evan Collins we knew he was the builder for us. Now, after waiting for the house to be finished I can honestly say that the service was even better than expected. Collins homes have the team in place to build incredibly built custom homes.
