Working with Couto Homes was an amazing experience and the house turned out better than we could have hoped.They made the entire process easy, seamless and even fun, despite us living half way across the country. Also, we were building in a brand new community that had no electricity— they built the entire house using generators just to ensure the timely completion.We initially started with Rob Martin explaining the process and helping us customize our home. We expanded a few rooms, added features and made some structural decisions. Rob guided us and kept us on track.Then, we met with our visionary designer, Mariah. She asked us a lot of questions to figure out what we liked, then she made some amazing suggestions. The house turned out better than we expected. We love the flow from room to room— she managed to strike the perfect balance between continuity and variation.Randy was the person that oversaw the construction. He was responsive to all of our questions, updated us regularly, and finished the project on time and on budget. A true pro.Throughout the entire process, everyone at Couto was so nice and incredibly professional. Although we had heard that building your first custom home can be frustrating, nothing could be further from the truth with Couto Homes. It is easy to see why they are rated the best in Hood County.

After purchasing our land in Dec 2022, my family and I spent two years preparing it for a home. We made the jump to bring in Couto Homes and began the build in Dec 2024. By the following July, they completed not only a beautiful home, but helped us to realize a vision my family and I have talked about for years.
