After connecting with a few other custom infill builders in Edmonton, we chose Timber Haus to build our custom infill home and garden suite in Windsor Park, and we have no regrets. If we were to build again, we would team up with Timber Haus again.

Initially, we sent Timber Haus our vision board of what we hoped to include in our custom home, and they asked lots of questions about how we spend our days, what activities our family does, and what hobbies we have, and they incorporated it all into the home they designed for us. For example, we love spending time in our yard and gardening, so Timber Haus proposed and designed a green roof terrace, which we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. Because Timber Haus’ design process was very open, collaborative and purposeful, even after three years of living in our home, we don’t really have any “I wish we had done this…” or, “Next time, I would change this” afterthoughts.

Additionally, the quality of the build has been excellent. Timber Haus’ team members and trades have very high standards in terms of craftsmanship and customer service. Our site superintendent, Jeff, kept a close eye throughout the entire build and if anything needed addressing he was on top of it. Even after taking possession of our home, Don, the president, has been extremely responsive if we’ve had anything pop up (like an issue with our fridge- not actually a build issue) and will stop by to check things out and stay for a quick coffee and catch up.

Timber Haus also built our Garden Suite, which has been rented out since we took possession. John’s expertise in garden suites resulted in a very desirable income suite, embracing biophilic design with huge windows, lots of natural light, and a patio space that provides both us and our tenants with privacy.

When you build with Timber Haus, you feel like you’re working as a team with a goal of building your dream home. At every step of the process we felt that we could reach out to connect with the team. The Timber Haus team’s passion for infill and creating unique custom homes in Edmonton shines through and we are so happy that we chose them to bring our ideas to life.

We had an amazing experience building our custom home with Timber Haus in 2023! The entire team was incredibly attentive and professional, and honestly, we felt like we made new friends. Timberhaus built a garden suite for me 4 years ago and it was an excellent experience. The trades and staff including the owners went above and beyond to walk me thru the process.
