From the standpoint of a potential home-buyer client i would rate Kanvi very high. While not the cheapest custom builder in Edmonton you have to realize when building a custom home quality and support matters. They have an excellent design team that will take time to develop what you need. Their site staff care about quality construction and they also retain quality control supervisors to ensure you are left with no problems. Very low pressure, and very flexible in how they work with you. Easily in the top 3 of Edmonton Home builders in my opinion. Check out some of their homes....

Working as a Mortgage Specialist in Edmonton for over a decade, I have had significant experience in dealing with new construction properties on behalf of myself, as well as my clients. When looking to build our current home, there was no hesitation in choosing Kanvi to help make our dream home a reality.

Although they are not the least expensive builder, I strongly believe they provide great value. Basic specifications are significantly superior to their counterparts, and a lot of items which would be considered “upgrades” with other builders are automatically included. Their reputation for high quality construction and design went along way, but it was their customer service that truly set them apart.

Chris was absolutely outstanding from the preliminary discussions, throughout the sales process, and then design. You can tell he thoroughly enjoys what he does and is always willing to provide great feedback and general assistance. He went above and beyond for us on several occasions, ensuring that he answered all our questions in meticulous detail.

When it came to construction, Kanvi uses a program called Buildertrend that keeps track of the different build stages, while providing updates and photographs along the way. It was incredible to see this updated proactively, instead of having to constantly reach out on progress. They also accommodated several viewings during the build to witness the home as things advanced.

After being in the home for over two years now, I believe the biggest differentiator for Kanvi was how scrupulous they were in taking care of any deficiencies post construction. This is an extremely important point that I always relay to my own clients. Kanvi takes pride in their craftsmanship and ensured follow up to remedy any issues that arose after we took possession of the home.

Kanvi truly stands behind their brand, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking to construct a home.
