Schumacher Homes of Lewis Center is definitely top notch. We built the Santa Barbara model and couldn’t be happier. The home building experience from start to finish was absolutely seamless. Andy Howard was as our GC. He had a schedule from the start of the build and never deviated from it. We always knew what was happening with every stage of the build. I texted and called Andy numerous times on the weekend with questions and he always answered me without hesitation. Thank you to the entire Schumacher team that helped us start to finish.

In particular, our project manager, Brian Hewison, was a lifesaver. Given my demanding work schedule, I was often unable to visit the site to check on our progress. Brian was fantastic at following up and keeping me informed about everything happening on-site.Thank you for the excellent service and for making our home-building process so smooth.
I cannot say enough about my experience, especially with my project manager Steve Price. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and the home is of the quality I would expect.Steve was upfront about everything. Anything he said he would do, he did. He reached out weekly with updates on the home and always followed through. At times we had to wait on utility company’s (electric , water, gas), but I don’t know if there was a down day without a tradesman working and the timeframe to completion far exceeded my expectation. Anything in his control was scheduled and taken care of.As we got closer to close, I sent him a list of things that needed touched up or fixed and they were all done within a week of sending and before I moved in. Since then, he has still been in touch regarding anything that was initially missed and needs corrected. My neighbors spoke to him once and made the comment they should have considered Schumacher and absolutely would if they built again. Building a home can be very stressful but he truly made the experience wonderful and I would specifically request him if I ever built again. I can’t say enough.Through my experience, I would recommend Schumacher to anyone and would absolutely build with them again.
Working with our project manager- Brian during the construction of our home was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, he was a fantastic communicator—always clear, organized, and proactive. Anytime I had a question or concern, he responded promptly and made sure I understood the next steps. His attention to detail and commitment to keeping us informed made the entire process so much smoother and far less stressful. Highly recommend! Also worked with Hollie and Sarah who were very responsive to any questions we had in the beginning stages.
