I wish I could leave zero stars. Here what a 4 year old house looks like from Tralon homes. The best part is when you call Tralon homes for some help and to tell them what is going on their only response is call the warranty company. I have. I submitted a claim back in August. The customer service is about as bad as the houses you build. I feel sad for anyone who is looking at all the new builds that you guys are doing. Can’t post the videos I took of all the cracking in the basement and the separation of the concrete slabs in the garage.
We started the process of buying our home during covid so a lot of in person things happened virtually which was made very simple. We used the preferred lender from Saint Aubyn and they made things so easy for me with my VA loan. The incentives and military perks along with location were perfect for me and my growing family. Our first walk through went well and was very welcoming with Sterling Marten. Our Interaction with Megan Farrell initially and throughout the process was amazing too. We close on Monday and are so excited to call this house our first home! It’s been a lot of fun fun (and build up on anticipation) to watch the home being built.
The moment I walked in the sales office, Mark Ewell was patient and very knowledgeable. He helped me decide on the proper model for my needs after listening very patiently to my long list of wants. I came armed with a million questions and he was able to answer all of them.At the design center, I picked out everything, but I wish someone told me all the options. I didn't see cabinet hardware and would have wanted the option. I didn't know there were appliance upgrades. I could have paid a few hundred more for a bigger microwave and nicer dishwasher. I would have but they weren't presented as options at the design center. There was also a delay between communication of additions (like adding a door or a vented microwave) from the office to the field and them actually making the changes. It would have been more cost effective for St. Aubyn to have framed in the items or added the vent while at the framing stage. These items were added and functional, but they weren't added until the end which still is puzzling.Mark bent over backwards to make sure I closed ahead of time. I was living in a hotel for 2 months and we were able to get out of there in perfect timing. Thanks, Mark!Creg Malian did our walkthrough. He was very nervous on closing day because he wanted everything to be perfect. My husband and I are in the construction field so we both know perfection is impossible. We want a structurally sound home with working plumbing and mechanical parts. The cosmetic stuff can be repaired. I appreciated Creg's care, and told him not to be nervous.Closing was a breeze, btw. I also appreciated the unmatched incentive/ allowances. I won't say how much because St. Aubyn might have different incentives in the future. After a week or so in the house I had to call the warranty department for a very small wiring issue. I was terrified I wouldn't get a call back for months, and contemplated fixing it myself... but Luke Loveless called me right away, went over the basic steps one should take before calling it a warranty issue, and scheduled to be out that day. He ended up having to call the electric company to fix it and they were out the day after that. They fixed the issue in literal minutes and everything has been fine since.Fast forward a couple more weeks. I noticed one end of my lawn was sopping wet and the other was normal. The new sod wasn't taking in that soaked corner so I assumed there was a water leak or something. I filled out a warranty form online and in about 30 minutes Josh Warren called me! When I called him back, he was at my house with an irrigation expert in 15 minutes. We decided the water was draining to that corner (which was good) but it didn't need a sprinkler head adding more water. The irrigation expert said he will fix it and he left. I figured he would be back in a few days, but he came back in a few minutes. He removed the head and after 2 weeks the yard wasn't soggy, the sod had taken, and it is still very green right now!I also have a small issue with a piece of my cabinet and Luke and Kevin Hall really took care to make sure my concerns were addressed. They are following up to make sure the cabinet company performs as promised and they will be here in a few days to repair it. With so many homes going up, I feel like mine is the only one that matters. It is impressive they are able to make me feel that way considering how many they have to deal with. They all remember my points or complaints and treat me like it matters.... even after closing.I know I have talked to a few others at St. Aubyn. All of the people are honest, kind, and helpful. They have exceeded my expectations and have done a great job living up to their promises. Nothing can be perfect, but these folks really care if I love my home... and I do!I would also like to say, the contractors who put this house together need some credit. They are the faceless and nameless people who deserve to be rewarded. I drove by everyday and wondered in amazement how they got it all done. Thanks everybody!
Love my Saint Aubyn Home!! Such a great experience from looking to move in the whole experience with Saint Aunyn was wonderful. Zach has been very helpful with the finishing touches. Love the whole experience.
We recently had a new home built and it's fantastic. I believe that the quality vs price is better with St Aubyn than with any other builder in town. This is a truly stunning house, and it's everything we had dreamed of. We were able to customize what we wanted, and the builder was great working with us on specific upgrades and downgrades to suit our preferences. The entire process was easy and comfortable, and we feel like we got everything we were after. But the best part about our purchase was working with the St Aubyn team. Matt and Melissa are absolutely priceless. I had a million questions and they were patient and thorough in answering them for me. They went out of their way to help us, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. When the build was closer to completion we were in frequent contact with Chuck and Jason. These guys bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for us! And they didn't stop at closing. They routinely check in with us and make sure everything is good, and let us know what's going on around the neighborhood. It is great to feel like the builder really cares about our experience, and will continue to be there for us if we need anything.I'd like to give special kudos to the hardwood flooring installer, the porcelain repair guy, and the window technician. Everything in our home is fantastic, but they did an especially outstanding job for us.One recommendation I have is go with the Modern Farmhouse upgrade. I wasn't sure about that particular option, but I'm so glad I went with it! I get so many compliments on how nice it looks. We are looking forward to many happy years in our new Everest by St Aubyn.
