There are five complaints with the BBB and eight filed with the Ohio Attorney General's Office for Jeff Crawford stealing and defrauding people of millions of dollars. There are five law suits filed against Jeff Crawford and Cleveland Custom Homes.

Update:
In the past two years, 21 liens have been filed against home owners' property, due to Jeff Crawford and his pathetic business, Cleveland Custom Homes, stealing their money and not paying the subcontractors and vendors. Home owners are forced to pay legal fees to have the liens removed due to Jeff Crawford's deceitful, cowardice, and dishonest behavior.

I now have now 6 liens filed against my property for over $218,000. Jeff Crawford received the money for the work and didn't pay the trades and vendors. There are also multiple complaints filed with the BBB and Ohio Attorney General.

I paid Jeff Crawford, owner, 75% of the cost of my build and he has not paid ANY vendors or trades (except roof and foundation) that have worked on my home. Liens are filed against my property. Jeff Crawford refuses to tell me where the money went and states he "invested it into his business ". He has no money to pay the vendors or finish my or others' homes. Run from him and his company and any he is involved with! He recently created a new company, Cleveland Custom Homes Design Build. Jeff Crawford is a thief, a fraud, and a con-man.

If I can put 0 stars I would. We had a horrible experience with Cleveland Custom home doing our Kitchen remodel. Jeff stole our money and left us with an unfinished kitchen. He didn't get the job as promised and left us waiting for months to now a year with no work done ..
We lost over 60k with this kitchen addition and Have to pay a different company to Finnish the job

Much like the recent reviews, we faced the same issues. Jeff Crawford (and CCH) is a con artist snake. Stay far far away from this man. He is ruining people’s lives.

I paid Jeff Crawford, Cleveland Custom Homes, for over 90% of the cost of my build and only 60% of the work has been done. Vendors and trades have filed liens on the property for non-payment, eventhough jeff was given the money from my bank loan. All worked has stopped on my house and Jeff has no plan to finish it. He is a fraud and criminal. Run from him and any of his bussinesses.

I have spent weeks trying to find the right words to warn potential buyers about Jeff Crawford and Cleveland Custom homes. Wait or is it now Cleveland custom homes design build?? Before you buy a home from Jeff ask him why he got a new LLC in July 2023. Let me tell you why. Jeff could afford to finish any of the homes he was working on at the time so he decided do walk away from them by making excuse after excuse. He ignored 100’s of messages and at the end of the day I had to pay to finish my home because he didn’t have the money to finish it. He also has well over $100k in liens on another home and the home owner will have to clear those up to finish. We are not the only 2 there are others. Run far away from anything that Mr Crawford name is on. Who with any business ethics would screw over his customers and then turn around file for a new LLC and start selling like nothing happened.
