Karen & I built the Oxford Modern Farmhouse America’s Home Place home. They started the dig on April 23rd., and we were handed our keys on Aug. 13th. From the planning to the very end everything went very smoothly. Of course there are always things that come up, but Tyler ( our project manager) was super, always keeping us informed & handling the issues quickly & professionally! We can’t thank Tyler enough! As first-time home builders, the process was entirely new to my wife and I but the America's Home Place team made it easy. From the initial planning stages to the final touches, they brought our vision of a modern farmhouse to life. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the construction and the overall experience. Only a few minor hiccups and their team handled everything professionally and efficiently, ensuring that the end result was awesome. We would hire them again in a minute to build another home for us if we ever needed one. We are proud of our new home and look forward to creating many wonderful memories in it.
We just built with America’s Home Place. We cannot say enough good things about this company! Lots of floor plans to choose from. Best pricing in the area for building on your own land. You can customize where and how you need to! Our project manager, Brandon was phenomenal! He answered every question we had and was in constant contact with us the entire build. From the first meeting we had with him at our property I knew that we had made the right choice with who was going to be building our home!
We were Brent Walker's first home in the area with AHP (he was previously a builder in the Cincy area before working for AHP in Columbus) and, although we had some minor subcontractor hiccups along the way (being the first home in the area), Brent and his team quickly got involved in any issues and promptly made them right. We were looking to flip the home at the end of construction but ended up moving in since it was such a quality build for the money as compared to other builders in the area who were all around $100k more for something similar, without any noticeable bump in quality. We tweaked a unique 5 bedroom plan (with 5 huge walk-in closets) with a first floor primary, egressed the 9' basement for a 6th bed/5th bath, added a stone fireplace, custom kitchen, oak stairs, cabinets upgrades, flooring upgrades, drawer microwave, etc. for a reasonable price. We especially liked the 2x6 construction, granite counters, dual HVAC units, 18' custom garage door, and oversized garage which we all standard items with AHP. Never have a had such a comfortable temperature on demand at any time in a two story (and we are essentially nomads that have lived in many homes over the years)!
