Unfortunately, being self-employed for over 30 years ourselves I know people don't tend to take time to review someone if the work was done correctly. Being in the business as long as Mitch & Mike have been, and having only having eight reviews at the time of MY review, speaks volumes. They were straight forward, did not give false time line expectations (no one can control weather), communicated well via email on the weekdays, listened to our requests & made changes if need be. They provided a variety sub contractors for us to choose from and helped us stay on time & budget with friendly reminders. Our home is beautiful and even with the large wall of windows, we're nice and cozy inside. We would definately recommend the Carter Brothers to anyone looking to build a quality home.
The 5 star reviews are clearly completed by friends and or workers. The ineptitude of the owners and subs is unbelievable. If you want the poorest workmanship and no oversight during the building process Carter Bros. is the company to hire.

Have known and worked with Carter Brothers for over 20 years. Have used them as General Contractors on a pole barn, they also completely remodeled our large kitchen and master bath. Wish we had just had them build the house to begin with. They listen, communicate and the final product was just as we envisioned (and more).
