I have worked with many builders before. NONE like Roma Homes.Bill and his team are absolutely phenomenal. We just completed a whole house renovation including a full new kitchen, and touching very square inch of the house. I cannot imagine a world where it could have gone better. We worked with Roma homes on a second floor addition and complete remodel of our first floor, itis basically a new home, and couldn't ask for a better builder to work with. This was our first ever project in home construction and Bill helped ensure we understood what was going on, had great communication, identified some good vendors for us for selection proceeses and was able to help us make the right decisions to stay on track and budget! We are thrilled with how our home turned out.
The first time I met Bill K we’d just purchased our NoDa mill house and I was outside gardening. He stopped to chat and had a vested interest in our project, our vision, and our commitment to “keeping the old” in NoDa. What many may not know about Bill is that he loves his job and loves where he lives even more. He works tirelessly to make sure everyone is happy- the homeowner - the neighbors - the city - and the community. Where other builders will just rip and tear, Bill Katsaros cares about the mark he leaves behind. He will chat with the neighbors, attend NoDa board meetings, and wants everyone to be pleased with his building process. His worksites are IMMACULATE, his subs are gracious and respectful, and he’s readily available almost 24/7.I say all of this as a member of the community. As a customer 3+ years later, I am impressed with how Bill has curated a group of plumbers/electricians/framers/masonry etc that are some of the most talented craftsmen I’ve seen. The framing of our home is not only impressive, it was nearly perfect. Not a nail out of place or a crooked board. That’s saying a lot. Roma Homes cares about what is underneath which is rare for a builder. He advocates for the best insulation, most thorough waterproofing, and top notch products at an affordable price point. I am someone who cares deeply about the integrity of products and I could find no flaws in anything! Not only that, but Bill is great at being a businessman. He will regularly tell me “well, you can do it this way for $3/sqft or it can be done this way for double.” He’s not out to make a profit based on lies or up charges—he cares about the products but also cares about his customers’ opinions and budget.I could keep going, but I will just say that building is an investment, but building with Roma Homes is more than money spent—there is thought, care, cleanliness, talent, and precision on the other end. We aren’t quite done yet but our addition is fabulous!
