My agent, Anthony, brought me to see the property, and Mr. Nazar personally walked me through the structure, layout, and construction process. He explained everything clearly, which helped me understand the quality of the materials and workmanship.The house was completed and delivered in late 2025. After moving in, we experienced a few minor issues, which is normal for a new home. However, whenever something came up, Nazar was always responsive and arranged his team to help us promptly.One example that stood out was during the colder season. There was an advanced system in the house that kept making noise, and we were concerned that something might be wrong. Since we were not familiar with the equipment, we were afraid to touch it. After I mentioned this together with the heating issue, Nazar responded quickly and arranged for a technician to come the next day. Attitash team's attention to every major and minor detail shone through - the layout, the woodwork, the lighting fixtures all very unique with classy touches! Nazar walked us through the home before we closed on it. The excitement in his voice describing every detail as a proud artist would describe his precious creation was something to behold. After we moved in, there were few minor irritants that you'd expect with any new construction home that Nazar and team jumped on and addressed promptly! Avatar not only committed to this timeline but delivered, skillfully managing the complex scheduling of trades and materials even during challenging supply chain times.THE TEAM: Both Jims (yes, there are two - the project manager and site supervisor) were instrumental in the success of this project. The project manager Jim was particularly adept at finding creative solutions when we hit inevitable budget challenges, while site supervisor Jim kept the day-to-day operations moving. Being a custom build, I was extensively involved and on-site frequently - sometimes more than the site supervisor - and they welcomed my engagement rather than seeing it as an intrusion.SUBCONTRACTORS: Here's where things get interesting - some of Avatar's subs were absolutely phenomenal, true craftsmen who took pride in their work. Others required more oversight and guidance to meet expectations. This variability is probably my main constructive feedback to Avatar - maintaining consistent subcontractor quality could be improved. However, when any issues arose, Avatar was quick to address them.BUDGET & CHANGES: Let's be real - building a custom home means change orders. While nobody loves paying markup on changes (which was clearly outlined in the contract), the project manager worked tirelessly with me to balance these costs. Sometimes we found savings in other areas to offset increases, showing their commitment to working within my overall budget constraints where possible.POST-COMPLETION SERVICE: This is where Avatar truly shines. Months after moving in, they're still working with me to perfect minor paint details and finishing touches.
