We met with Steve Zbranek and our real estate agent at our lot and explained our idea and budget. He thought he could do it and we met again in a few weeks to see some rough possibilities. He and his designer “hit the nail on the head” the first time. We agreed on our budget requirements and said go.From that point on his work just got better. Working with Z&H was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our lake house build. We did a full custom home, and Troy and Tori were incredible from start to finish. I've had a handful of custom homes built over the years and Zbranek & Holt is by far the best custom home builder I've used. The house design was very modern with a few challenging design elements, but everything turned out perfectly. Their project manager was very meticulous and was on site every day to make sure everything was done properly. He said at the start he was going to build the home as if it was his own, and he was true to his word, and that goes for the entire staff at Z&H. Their accounting is very transparent, and unlike many other home builders, they won't underbid the job and then try to hit you with hidden costs later. You can log into your personalized client portal online to always keep up with every detail, and every change order is well documented. It has been a real pleasure working with these guys and I would highly recommend them for any house construction project in the Austin area.
Zbranek & Holt built our custom lake house and completed it in July 2019. The build process was seamless. Steve was incredibly responsive at all times to our every need.
